We’ve all seen how much the creator economy has grown, but a vital piece of the puzzle often gets left behind. We developed Creator Aware to help build a healthier ecosystem – one where creators are supported not just as marketing partners, but as real people.
What Exactly Is Creator Aware?
At its core, Creator Aware applies across SuperAwesome’s global creator network. It’s built around four key pillars designed to support both the incredible creators we work with and the audiences they inspire.
Here’s what we’re focusing on:
1. Mental Health and Resilience Support
One of the most important aspects of this initiative is ensuring creators actually know where to turn when they need a helping hand.
I’m incredibly proud to share that we’re partnering with Self Space, a pioneering mental health service, to provide specialist-led training and resources tailored to the unique realities of life as a creator.

This program is designed to help creators build resilience, recognize the early signs of burnout, manage the unique pressures of public-facing work, and access professional support whenever they need it.
When we began looking for a wellbeing partner, Self Space immediately stood out because of its modern, practical approach to mental health. Having used Self Space myself previously, I experienced firsthand how accessible and impactful their support can be. That gave me real confidence that they were the right partner to help us build something meaningful for creators.
Seeking support shouldn’t be a last resort – it should be a normal, everyday part of maintaining your wellbeing.

2. Wellbeing Commitments
Creator Aware establishes clear expectations around healthy working practices and work-life balance.
For younger creators especially, education, personal development, and mental health should never be compromised for the sake of content production. Through this framework, we are reinforcing safeguards that prioritize the individual behind the channel. We want to ensure that long-term well-being remains at the absolute center of creator partnerships.
3. Protected Payments for Young Creators
Financial independence and protection are also critical components of a creator’s peace of mind.
As part of Creator Aware, SuperAwesome will enable younger creators to receive payments directly into trusts established in their own names. This provides an essential layer of financial security, helping ensure that the money they earn today is safely locked away and safeguarded for their future.

4. Positive Content and Audience Safeguards
Creators have a powerful influence on young audiences, and we want to help them use that influence positively. That’s why we’re providing dedicated training in these areas to encourage creators to act as authentic role models and promote constructive messaging.
This training will strengthen our existing standards around disclosure, transparency, age-appropriate content, and audience protection. At the end of the day, we want to give creators the tools they need to ensure that brand partnerships remain responsible, safe, and trustworthy.

Looking Ahead
We will be rolling out Creator Aware globally across SuperAwesome’s creator network throughout 2026.
We know that there isn’t a single magic-bullet solution to the well-being challenges creators face, but we firmly believe that meaningful progress starts by recognizing those challenges, talking openly about them, and building real support systems that put people first.
Behind every piece of content, every view, every subscriber count, and every campaign result is a real person. And supporting those people isn’t just good business practice – it’s simply the right thing to do.
