Our Company Culture
Our people are at the heart of what we do and the driving force behind our growth and success. We value individuality and understand the importance of building a workplace where everyone can truly belong. We believe that supporting everyone to be their full selves helps them to reach their potential, allowing everyone to be ‘SuperAwesome’ helping us to build a safer internet for the next generation!
We are a team of passionate experts. We are not just leading in this space, we are defining it, together.
Our DEI&B employee resource group made up of SuperAwesome volunteers is called #BeYou. The group drives initiatives to increase diversity and inclusion across the company.
The group’s mission is to ensure SuperAwesome has a diverse workforce with an inclusive culture that ensures people feel like they belong. Great Minds Don’t Think Alike.
We call our mental health resource group our Mental Health Champions. They champion a culture where employees feel empowered to acknowledge and address mental health needs more openly.
The champions are mental health first aiders, their aim is to drive initiatives that reduce stigma including highlighting awareness days, organising talks and even once, holding a wellbeing festival of events!
Our team deserves more than free snacks, art classes, DJ events and offsites (although we do all of that too!). What we think really matters, is giving you a voice.
We run engagement surveys and focus groups to get your feedback on how we can continue to make SuperAwesome even more awesome!
Alongside individual learning budgets, personal development plans and a host of company training, we help to organise opportunities for you to challenge yourself. Our monthly ‘Lightning Talks’ are speedy ten minute presentations that help to spread and share knowledge. We organise bi-anual Hack Days for our Product team where the team can build and explore creative and innovative ways of improving SuperAwesome. We also encourage dedicated learning time to focus on self-learning initiatives and technical courses; we call it our Pet Projects!
