At SuperAwesome, we’re proud to be recognised as one of Campaign’s Best Places to Work in 2025 – but we know that kind of recognition doesn’t happen by accident. It’s all down to the brilliant people who bring our mission to life every day.
To celebrate the team at the heart of our success, we’ve launched ‘Life at SuperAwesome’ – a content series that spotlights the incredible individuals who make this such a special place to work. Through their stories, we’re diving into what they do, what drives them, and how they bring their passion to work (and beyond).
Stay tuned as we share what makes SuperAwesome truly awesome – one team member at a time.
We sat down with Greta Gamboni, Digital Campaign Designer, to talk about her time at SuperAwesome so far. Greta shared one of her favourite projects, which involved math-focused game – a subject she usually dislikes! She also took us through the books and restaurants she has recently loved.
Can you briefly describe your role at SuperAwesome?
I’m a Digital Campaign Designer. As the name suggests, I work on creating the design portion of our campaigns. My team also participates in the pitching of new ideas to both pre-existing clients and to get new business. These can vary from Toy clients to cool Entertainment clients!
You’re 6+ months into your role now, what’s been your favorite project so far and why?
My favorite project so far has been an interstitial unit for a math-focused game. It became a standout for me because it challenged me to turn a subject I’ve always disliked into something fun and visually engaging. Math was never my favorite growing up – so this even surprised me. The original product was a digital game, which I was able to replicate on our platform to create a gamified experience. The client provided beautiful assets that inspired me to build something just as vibrant. The final unit included animated characters, music, and short quizzes – elements that made even me enjoy math.

Tell us about something you’ve had to learn in your role so far?
Learning to make the impossible possible! This role has continuously challenged me to sharpen my skills, think outside the box, and approach every project with a creative mindset. Working within the constraints of a limited platform hasn’t been easy, but it’s exactly those limitations that have pushed me to problem-solve in unexpected ways. I’ve had to break down ideas, rethink how features could work, and sometimes completely reimagine how something could come to life within the tools available. It’s taught me how to be more resourceful, patient, and persistent. And in the end, there’s something incredibly satisfying about finding a clever solution and seeing the final product go beyond what anyone thought was possible.
What would you say is the best thing about working at SuperAwesome?
Getting to work with brands that shaped my childhood like Pokémon, Nintendo, and Sanrio has been so exciting and honestly a little surreal. These were a huge part of my world growing up, so being able to create for them now feels like a full-circle moment. There’s something really special about working on these projects, it brings back that same sense of wonder and excitement I felt as a kid, and it makes the work feel even more fun and meaningful.

Tell us a bit more about YOU! What do you do in your spare time outside of work?
I love spending my time reading, especially fantasy worlds I can get lost in to escape the chaos of the week. One series that has started my love for reading is Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. When I’m in a more social mood, I enjoy discovering new restaurants and traveling whenever I can. So far, my favorite restaurant in the U.S. has been Torrisi in New York City, and the country I’ve loved the most is probably South Korea, thanks to its rich culture and incredible food scene.
What’s one work goal of yours for 2025? How do you plan to achieve it?
This year, I’m focused on pushing my creative boundaries. One approach that’s greatly contributed to my growth has been reimagining familiar games within the constraints of our platform. It’s been both fun and challenging. Despite the limitations, we’ve consistently found creative solutions that allow us to achieve far more than initially expected.
