Kidtech leader SuperAwesome announce new US Chief Operating Officer

NEW YORK (5/10/2017) ​SuperAwesome, the world’s largest kids digital media platform, today announced the appointment of Kate O’Loughlin as Chief Operating Officer for the US. Ms O’Loughlin was most recently Senior Vice President (Media) and General Manager at Tapad (acquired by Telenor for $360M). Prior to that O’Loughlin was Product Director at MediaMath.

An engineer by background, Kate has been an active contributor to the marketing tech space throughout her career. She will be responsible for leading SuperAwesome’s US business from its New York office and also spearheading the global expansion of REX, the company’s kid-safe programmatic ad platform.

Growing at 25% annually (​source:​ PwC Kids Digital Advertising Report 2017), the kids market is one of the fastest growing digital media sectors in the world. New data privacy laws protecting kids’ online activity are enforcing strict compliance requirements, with hefty financial penalties for firms who are in breach. The leading kidtech player, SuperAwesome’s technology is used by hundreds of brands and publishers to power kid-safe digital engagement across advertising, social engagement and identity. The company recently announced a ​$21M Series B investment from Mayfair Equity Partners.
