SuperAwesome continues rapid growth, announces major new hires from Nickelodeon and Outfit7

NEW YORK (21/1/2016) ​Underlining the force they have become in the kids digital entertainment space, SuperAwesome today announced the appointments of Jeff Imberman (formerly SVP Sales and Marketing, Nickelodeon) as Chief Revenue Officer and Paul Nunn (formerly Managing Director, Outfit7) as Chief Commercial Officer. Additionally the company announced the opening of its west coast office in Los Angeles, CA.

SuperAwesome is the largest kids digital media platform in the world, reaching over a quarter of a billion kids each month across mobile, web and online video. SuperAwesome’s technology and products power kid-safe advertising, parent-portals and COPPA compliance for hundreds of brands and agencies around the world. Clients includes Lego, Warner Bros, Hasbro, Spin Master, Nintendo and others.

Jeff Imberman​, was previously SVP Sales & Marketing at Nickelodeon where he led their revenue strategy for some of North America’s largest agencies and kids brands. Based in New York he will lead SuperAwesome’s US commercial team. A well-known executive within the kids media space, Imberman was responsible for driving over $300M in ad revenue across TV, digital and mobile platforms for Nickelodeon during his tenure there.

Paul Nunn​ was previously Managing Director of Outfit7 Brit Limited, the family entertainment powerhouse behind the smash mobile success Talking Tom and Friends (over three billion downloads). As well as the development of their global premium ad business he also initiated and led their much-vaunted YouTube strategy, turning the Talking Tom and Friends channels into some of the most commercially successful kids video content on the platform. Based in London, Paul will have global responsibility for PopJam, SuperAwesome’s social content platform, as well as leading the company’s video monetization strategy.

SuperAwesome also announced the official launch of their west coast office, covering LA and San Francisco media markets. The company also has offices in New York, London, Singapore and Sydney.
