Behold, 50 Years of Space Technology!

I have about had it with NASA. We landed on the moon over 35 years ago. We have had plenty of time to kill aliens, steal their technology, or even roll up our sleeves and invent someething. Look what 3.5 decades has gotten us.

Oh and love the part about how it won't be ready until 2018.

Space Elevator..for real?

Next to building giant rings around the earth or even the sun, sci-fi is filled with kooky ideas of building eleveators into space. Why take a rocket if you could just ride an elevator? Seems like a good idea for novels and tv shows, but now some smarty pants engineers are actually going to build one.

MAD DOG 20/20

Last night we were working at a friend’s house and ran out of beer. We ran out to the liquor store to stock up. While browsing in the cooler, I came across a bottle of Banana Red MD 20/20. I hadn’t had Mad Dog in ten years so I decided to indulge. Wow, it’s just as bad as I remember! We were wondering what the MD stood for. Thankfully, the Internet has everything. I quickly came across some cool websites that discuss the merits of Mad Dog as well as some of the same caliber wines like Night train, Thunderbird, and Cisco! Enjoy!

So I’m sitting at work bored and all of the sudden Plinko pops into my head. You remember that game on The Price Is Right! Host Bob Barker and his trusty Plinko stick. Anyway, I did a quick search and stumbled across the website for TPIR. You can actually go to the FAQ section and find out how to email the studio to get a free autographed picture of Bob Barker. Seemed exciting to me!

OMFG! Soon We WIll be Immortal!

An Austrailian team of super scientists have created a strain of mice that can regenerate any limb or organ with the exception of the brain. They have chopped off toes, burned off parts of their hearts and even snipped the optical nerve. All these injuries repaired themsleves. I can't wait to take that pill!

I just hope those mice don't escape, they would be super hard to kill.
